Lila is so sweet. She wags her whole back-end when you approach and just loves attention. She is also housebroken and used to living in a home. Lila would make a steadfast and loyal companion. She does not get along with other dogs though, at least in a shelter setting. Lila was brought to the shelter 11/22/22 at age 6 years, weighing 65 lbs. by someone who said she was a stray. Soon after, shelter staff scanned Lila and found she had a microchip, so the owner was contacted. That person said she was not a stray, but given away to the person who left her at the shelter. The original owner could not keep Lila due to having a newborn, building a house and being in the military. Obviously, the second home did not work out, so Lila is in need of another home. Hopefully, third time is to charm! She is spayed, vaccinated and HW negative. Call (434) 374-8076 or email for adoption info.
